Programs & Classes Available in Orange County to Help You Start Your New Career in Healthcare
For the last 40 years, we’ve built out all-inclusive Healthcare classes that have been the best place to start a new career in Southern California. We offer 3 different individual programs, and one of those programs is actually two classes in one! Furthermore, you get a standard set of valuable add-ons with each class, at no additional cost!
Let’s review the class options, and what they include below:
- X-ray Technician Program (Includes Medical Assisting): This is our most popular program at the school. It runs 12 months, and includes Medical Assistant cross-training, which is a must here in California. Not only does your tuition cover both portions of the program, but you receive hands-on training, small class sizes, included Clinical Internship, and Job Placement Assistance! Moreover, we cover the cost of your first exams, both for X-ray Tech & Medical Assisting, and your books, scrubs, supplies, parking, and tutoring come standard! No experience necessary to begin your new career as an X-ray Tech.
- Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound/Vascular Technology: Our 18-Month all-inclusive Ultrasound Tech class is another one of our most popular programs here at Modern Technology School. Like our Orange County X-ray Tech Program, this class is taught hands-on and in small class sizes. You work right alongside an instructor with years of experience, who has both worked in the field and stood in your shoes before. Moreover, you receive 1,000+ hours of Clinical Internship — something you will not likely find at other Ultrasound Schools. Lastly, you receive all the same goodies as our other classes — books & scrubs, cost of your first exam, and all supplies are included!
- Medical Assistant / Back Office: Our standalone medical assisting classes offer students an option to start quickly in Diagnostic Healthcare. Get the same built-in value as our other classes while building your new career as a medical assistant. Like all our other Healthcare classes, no experience is necessary to begin.
How Can I Begin My Career in Healthcare with No Prior Experience?
We make it easy for students to begin their new career in Diagnostic Healthcare with no prior experience. Not only do we help you build a solid foundation for a future in Healthcare no matter which path you go down, but pre-requisite training is a part of your curriculum. Moreover, our labs are taught hands-on. You’ll receive the kind of attention you deserve; you can ask questions and get answers demonstrated live by our faculty.
Clinical Internship is also a big part of what we do here. We include your internship so that you don’t have to go searching for one on your own. Not only is it often impossible to find an internship timed perfectly with your class & licensing requirements, but many clinics and hospitals may not adhere to the standards required for licensing. We figure it’s better to be safe than sorry, so internship is a big part of your new career foundation.
Finally, remember that we’re a small Orange County Healthcare School. Because of this, we’re able to offer more value to our students. Moreover, we can take time to offer our students hands-on tutoring as well as pay closer attention to their needs. Remember that Healthcare is a hands-on job. That said, you’re better off learning in small class sizes where you can focus, versus online classes that may leave you lost once you get into the field.
